Well, we were not able to let Owen "cry it out." We did it the first night and it was not so bad. He was up a couple of times and ended up in our room around 6 am, which was pretty good. We were on a roll! Then, the next night, Owen was sick. I thought that he needed comforting, so we were quickly back in the same situation. He is now over his cold and teething, for now. So, we decided to see what he would do if we just let him start off on the pallet in our room. It worked like a charm. He slept ALL night long. I have not had a full nights sleep since Owen was 7 months old!!! It was absolutely wonderful! So guess what? Owen is on our floor again tonight. I have felt that we have somehow failed Owen because he is unable to put himself to sleep, but I am over it. He obviously needs the comfort of knowing that we are near, so aren't we the ones that are suppose to give him that security and comfort? I know that the day will come very quickly when he does not need to sleep on a pallet on our floor. I will cherish this time!
All is going well with the house. We are still scheduled to close this Thursday. The bathroom will not be completed for a couple of weeks, because we chose a different contractor. I have a guy coming out next week to give us an estimate on refinishing the floors. Hopefully all will go as planned.

Is that a New Kids on the Block sleeping bag? That's great about Owen. I know you must feel so refreshed!...Well, maybe after a few more nights of sleeping without interuptions that is!
