This was Owen while we were waiting in the pre-op room. He actually fell asleep before they came back to get us. (probably low blood sugar- this was at 10:30 and he had not eaten since 9:30 the night before) I was hoping that they could just leave him asleep, but when the "sleeping doctor" came in he woke up. They let me accompany him to the OR. I was able to hold him until they had him asleep.
