I had my 15 week check up today. Everything is going well! It is amazing our two completely normal pregnancies can be so different. Owen's pregnancy was pretty uneventful. I gained somewhere around 35 pounds and only got sick when I ate too much. With this pregnancy, I have had a good bit of morning sickness, gained 1 lb so far, and cannot sleep at night. After hearing the heartbeat today, I was assured that I am having a normal pregnancy.
I am seeing a doctor in Fayetteville, GA. It is not the same doctor that delivered Owen. I continued seeing the same doctor after Owen was born and was just not completely happy with him. So, when I found out that I was pregnant, I decided to find a new doctor. I am very pleased with him. Dr. Cook is very laid back, seems very confident, and has a great bedside manner. Today at my appointment, after he had assured me that I was having a normal pregnancy, he had some difficulty finding a heartbeat. After several minutes of him searching, I could tell that he was getting concerned. The tears were already coming down my face. He calmly sat down then doppler machine and started pressing around on my stomach and finally found what we were looking for. He smiled, put his hand on my arm, and said, " I am going to have to have a talk with that baby!"
We will deliver the baby at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital, which is a brand new facility that was built last year. I am very excited. They are a family oriented facilty, so Owen will be able to be with us at anytime.
I have taken belly pictures and will post them tomorrow.
Owen is great. He has his preschool orientation tomorrow. He is very excited!

Maybe this means that you're having a girl this time ;)
I'm so glad things are going well even though you've been a little anxious at times. we need to catch up. i saw where erin theorized on the baby being a girl. i don't mind if you want to use the name "rebecca":)
Yes, Rebecca is nice but Erin Elizabeth is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL name for a girl! ;)
How about Rebecca Elizabeth?
