Owen and I were on our own today, but we really missed Justin. We woke up and walked into town and had breakfast at the Redneck Gourmet. It was really good and Owen was the perfect date. He ate half of his sausage biscuit and then half of my grits. While he was waiting on me to finish my coffee, he entertained himself by loading and hauling raisins around our table. Another little boy thought that he needed to help out, so he and his mom came over to talk. His name was Owen and they were on their way to a tractor parade in Tourin. Owen and I decided that we could not miss that, so we ran back to the house and got the car and drove to Tourin, GA. It is only about 10 minutes away, but it is in the middle of no where. It was great. There were about 40 tractors in the parade and then after that they had a tractor pull and pedal races for the kids.
Owen laughed so hard everytime they threw the candy and at the end he started throwing to them. We had a great little adventure today!

Cool! I bet Owen loved that! What a fun "boy" thing to do for the day. Only in the South......
