We are still looking for the camera. I hate that I am not able to post a picture of the grocery store meltdown!
Owen had been with Mrs. Cindy all day, so I thought he would be in a great mood to run a few errands. We first went to Michael's to see about getting a painting framed. The line was too long and we developed a dirty diaper while waiting in line, so we just left. No biggy; they have a sale every week!
We went to Golden's on the Square for supper. Owen did great. He loves this place. We shared chicken, green beans, mac and cheese, and sweet potatoe casserole. I will have to get Owen is own plate next time. He ate at least half of everything and all of the sweet potatoes. He loves to eat all of the raisins out of the casserole first and then eat the rest.
This is a resturaunt that a lot of the "senior" population frequent. We were sitting at the front door so Owen took it upon himself to greet them all. The first little lady walked in and he said, "Grandmama." She just smiled and waved. It was so funny, because he does not have a "grandmama." A few minutes later a couple come in and Owen says, "dere's anoder Grandmama and anoder." I thought I was going fall out of my chair. Everytime an older person came in, he would call them grandmama. I called Mrs. Cindy to find out where he learned this. She said that there was a grandmama on the cartoon, Big Comfy Couch. He picks up everything!
On to the grocery store for just a few items. Owen did great driving the big car cart for the first couple of isles, then it all fell apart. We tried him walking beside and helping me shop, then he disappeared. So I had to do the dreaded. I had to buckle him into the cart. He cried and cried. Then he did it. "I dont lite do no more, I dont lite mommy no more," OVER and OVER again. We were on the last couple of isle, so i just tuned him out. Some lady even tried to tell me how cute he was. I tuned her out as well!
We made it to the house and were both still alive.
We talked with Justin on the webcam for a few minutes. Owen thought it was neat getting to see daddy on the computer.
When/if I find the camera, I will post pictures!
