20 weeks!

We had our 20 week ultrasound and check-up today! We are definately going to be welcoming baby Meg in the middle of Feburary. The Doctor said that everything looked great. I had some concerns that I was not feeling her kick much yet, but the doctor said that the placenta is attached across the front of my belly and "padding" her kicks. The placenta is also lying low, which is not uncommon with 2nd pregnancies. We will continue to check it to make sure that it moves up and away from the cervix. We will go back in 4 weeks and check her again. Dr. Cook has said that it is fine for Owen and I to spend the month of December with Justin.

Owen does not fully understand that we are having a baby, but he does notice my belly getting larger. He is just enjoying being two! He is starting to get interested in potty training after seeing his cousin Carter use the potty. He pretended to potty all over the front yard today. Thank goodness that he has not figured out how to pull his pants down!
