30 week check-up

I am feeling well, and Meg seems to be doing well. We have started going to the doctor every two weeks now. I feel like this pregnancy is going by so quickly. For the past two visits, the doctors have both made the comment that we are having a "large" baby. After hearing it again this morning, I am starting to get nervous. I ask for clarification about my due date maybe being miscalculated (at first ultrasound 2-18-09, second ultrasound 2-23-08). The answer that I got was: " A large baby does not mean an early baby." I know that they do not know either, but I would like to know whether to mentally prepare myself for an 8lb baby the middle of Febuary, or for a 14lb baby the end of Febuary. Owen did not become chubby until he was about 3 months old, so I am very excited about holding a sweet chubby newborn.

Sweet big brother moment: Yesterday, while Justin and I were finishing lunch, Owen was playing on the floor with his contruction trucks and talking to himself. During his dialogue, he said, "going to pick up baby sister." It was so cute. I am not sure what he playing, he quickly got quite once we started asking questions. Justin and I talk about Meg and tell him that we will go to the hospital and pick her up one day and he gets excited. He wants to give her a paci, change her diapers, and he is excited about her sleeping in his room. Febuary is still so long away for him, so we are trying to wait until the middle of January to really start talking more about her. He is going to be a great big brother, and Meg definately knows her big brother. I can already feel her reacting to his voice. I cannot wait to see how they interact.

Well, it's good to have an update. I've been thinking about ya'll! Don't worry about them saying she is so big. They said that right up to the moment Asher was born, and we know how little he was! I agree. It has flown by! Hope we can come visit Meg when she comes too! We just ordered her something VERY cute:)
