I had my check-up for the week today and apparently "dropping" is an important step to this whole process. I have dialated 2 cm and am 50% effaced, but Meg is nowhere near the birthcanal. After hearing the news, I have been told that she is just a smart little girl and does want to get out in this cold weather! I go back to the doctor on Thursday of next week and we will be put on the schedule to be induced on Monday the 23rd. The doctor again estimated that she is around 7 lbs at this point, so she should be a healthy little girl.
We are all ready to meet her, so it is a little disappointing that we will have to wait a couple more weeks.
