I did not work on Thursday, so I decided that Meg and I would venture off to the mall for the morning. Owen had preschool and then I was going to leave him for lunch bunch til 2 so that I would not have to rush back. Thursday morning, Owen figured out that Meg and I were going somewhere without him and begged to go. Well, I gave in because I did not want him to feel left out and besides, he promised (lesson #23 toddlers can pronounce, but do not understand the word "promise") He was so sweet talking in the van all the way to the mall. He noted everything that we passed and asked frequently, " what's nat?" I was so naive. My goal: doormat for the front door, shirts and shorts for Owen. What I bought: a shirt for Meg. It was a nightmare. Everyone at Arbor Place Mall now knows Owen's face and name. They have a really cute playground area near the food court, so we started out there. I let him play for about two hours, we/I ate and then I attempted my shopping. I guess I will try and reverse the order if I take him shopping. Meg of course was a complete angel and slept. The pictures of Meg were taken when we got home. The one of Owen was taken in the restroom at the mall. He has always been afraid of the hand dryers, but on this trip they fascinated him.

You are BRAVE. I don't think I would take mine to the mall now by myself. I guess it is a little harder now that Clayton is walking. Anyway, I love the Meg bloomers. Too cute.
