We have been busy since I last posted. We were temporarily without our livingroom and playroom as the ceiling was being replaced. We now have a beautiful new ceiling in the livingroom. The playroom is actually a sunroom attached to the livingroom, so Owen has not been able to get out to the playroom for two weeks. He was so excited to go back in and see all of his toys.
This past weekend was long. We wanted to be at home for Carter's birthday celebration and visiting with family, but instead we were here cleaning up a dusty mess! We did attend a neighbor's birthday party Saturday afternoon and Owen enjoyed running wild for awhile, but we were wishing we were home (or at least I was, we did/will not tell Owen that we missed Carter's birthday because he would be so upset). The pictures are of Owen after he went down the slide for the first time and Meg while she was waiting on Owen. (I promise I do tell Justin that I am about to take a picture!)
While cleaning on Saturday, I found this set of hair thingys and decided to have a little fun with Meg's hair. She was a good sport. Owen kept asking what I was doing to her and why we had to put those things in her hair. I thought she looked beautiful!
Owen continues to do well with his potty training. He has only had two accidents at night and will go 2-3 days without any accidents. Although, since he has had access to his playroom, he has had more accidents. I think he gets busy playing a does not stop to potty. He actually has pooped in there the past three days in a row, so we are having to deal with that issue right now. All in all, it has not been too bad. He has been wearing big boy underwear for 3 weeks now. Confession: he drank a cup of milk about 30 minutes before bed and could not potty, so after he fell asleep, we put a pull-up on him. He will not be happy when he wakes up, but at least we will not be washing sheets tomorrow.
Meg has started to protest when you take something from her, which is always fun! She is smiling all the time. I can tell that she misses me when I am away. I have started working a more "normal" schedule, so I am leaving them for about 6-7 hours three days a week. I try to get to work around 7 am and leave them sleeping and Justin cares for them until Kay Bugg gets here. It is so much easier leaving them all sleeping! But anyway, it just melts my heart when I come home and Meg just smiles a big ole smile and starts kicking her legs trying to get to me. Owen is always the first to get to me, so while I am hugging and loving on him, she starts whimpering wanting me to take her. They are just so sweet!

I love Meg's hair. LOL.
I am glad to see that one of those bows did not end up in Owen's hair. I would hate for Justin to miss his beauty sleep again. Meg is beautiful and Owen is getting to be a big boy. Hope to see yall soon.
Love Aunt Debbie
