fishing trip

We decided that we wanted to get out of the house today, but did not want the have Max around a lot of people, so we went fishing. The Easter Bunny brought Owen a fishing rod for Easter and we have not had the time to take him fishing, so we decided that today was the day. We went to a Kedron Lake in Peachtree City. It has several piers and a playground that was sort of in the shade. Justin and Owen covered themselves in sunblock and fished for several hours. Meg, Max, and I found shade. Meg played on the playground, snacked, and blew bubbles. Max slept in the stroller and enjoyed the breeze. Meg found a "daddy long leg" spider and brought it to me saying, "ewwww." I tried to get a picture, but somehow cut of her hand in it. Owen loved fishing with daddy and did not want to leave. He kept saying, "but I like to fish all day." They did not catch any fish, but they did catch a turtle and a baby duck. The first picture is of the kids trying to entertain themselves on the way home. They were tired, but it was a fun day.
