Owen went to his first day of preschool today. He is in Mrs. Shannon and Mrs. Donna's 2year/2 day class at the First United Methodist Church. Justin and I took him this morning and he was fine. He walked in and played with the toys while we talked with Mrs. Shannon. Mrs. Donna was very impressed that he was saying, "thank you" already. Then in came "Matthew" (names have not been changed to protect the guilty) He was wearing a cute little blue outfit, his face was blood red, and we was screaming at the top of his lungs! Owen frowned, started picking up all of the toys and then started crying for his mommy. Mrs. Donna took him to the music room and we left. I nervously went to work. I quickly saw my patients and raced back to the preschool to wait in the car pool line. Owen looked so sweet waiting patiently with the other children. He had his hands behind his back and was just checking everything out. He spotted me in the car and just waved. Finally, Mrs. Donna brought him to the car. She said that he only cried for about 2 minutes after we left this morning. I was so happy to see that he had quickly adjusted. I think that he is really going to enjoy preschool.

He looks like such a big boy and sooo cute! Preschool, how sad!! That means Owen is offically not a baby anymore. Of course Momma and Daddy can always think of him as a baby if they want.
