I have had several requests for me to post pictures of the house, but I have not taken the time to do so. This is Owen and Meg's room. We had planned to put the kids together as soon as we found out we were expecting regardless of the gender of the baby, because our third bedroom is so far away from ours. I could not stand the thought of moving Owen or putting a new baby in there. The theme of Owen's nursery was Nursery Rhymes and because we did not find out what he was going to be, our decor was neutral. I have tried to put a few boy things in Owen's corner and a few girly things in Meg's. We use our sunroom as a playroom, so I do not have to worry about their toys cluttering up their room. I really do like the layout of the house for right now. Their bedroom is separated from ours by our bathroom. The original house only had two bedrooms and two baths. Our bedroom was used as a preschool/nursery that the owner ran in the 30s. We have the door that separates the two, but it would get in the way and we would leave it open all the time anyway. As you can see, we are still working on our bathroom, so our towels are being stored on the shelf next to Meg's crib.
Owen is excited about sharing a room with Meg. He sings to her and has to give her night night kisses and hugs. I love it! Tonight is actually the first night that she will sleep in their room. She has been in the bed with us and sleeping through until around 5am. Owen has been wanting to sleep in our bed the last couple of nights because he has figured out that Meg sleeps in it. He was so pitiful tonight, "I am not a big boy." "I wanna sleep in your bed with daddy and Meg." "I want you to hold me." So I think that it might be time for her to spend the first part of the night in her crib. I do not want him to think that he is missing out on something.

Their room is SUPER cute!! I love the little white shelves over both of their beds!
I hope Carter and Clayton will want to share a room. If they don't want to I guess that's fine too. It just seems like it would be nice to have all the toys in one room. Especially since they are both boys and will have the same toys anyway. I hate trying to remember which toys belong in which room.
